Balachandran M K is an alumnus from the 2000 ISC batch of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kunnumpuram. He was a student at the school from 1990 to 2000 and was a state level athlete representing the school. He then went on to complete his B.Tech in Dairy Science & Technology from Kerala Agriculture University. In fact, he is the first student from our Vidyalaya who secured admission for B.Tech under the sports quota. He worked with MILMA for a short tenure post his engineering and then pursued Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) from Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), which is a premier institute specializing in Rural Management. He vividly remembers his life at our school and strongly believes that our school and teachers have played a major role in developing his personality. Currently he is working with SBI General Insurance as the Head of Rural & Micro Insurance vertical based out of Mumbai.
